How to get to Tenno

Tenno is easily accessible due to its strategic location between the mountains and Lake Garda. Depending on your starting point, you can arrive by car, train, or plane, with convenient and fast connections from several Italian cities.

By car

For those traveling by car, Tenno is easily accessible via the SS421, a scenic road that connects Riva del Garda to the valleys of Trentino. From Riva del Garda, just drive about 10 km north to reach the village. The route offers splendid views of the surrounding landscape, including vineyards, forests and glimpses of the lake. Public parking is available near the historic center and Lake Tenno.

By train

The nearest train station to Tenno is Rovereto, located along the Verona-Brenner railway line. Once in Rovereto, you can continue by bus with the Trentino Trasporti line, which connects the city to Tenno in about 45 minutes. For those who prefer more autonomy, it is possible to rent a car directly at the station.

By airplane

The nearest airports to Tenno are:

  • Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN ) – about 90 km. The most convenient for reaching Garda Trentino, with domestic and international flights.
  • Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport (BGY) – about 130 km. Excellent solution for those traveling with low-cost airlines.
  • Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) – approximately 200 km. Main stopover for intercontinental flights.

From these airports, you can reach Tenno by car, train, or via private transfer services.
